The CD experience is fine - but have just uploaded to my phone (which will be my primary use) and the naming of the CDs and tracks is not consistent, so the 'albums' do not appear in the correct order, which will make listening on the move a bit tricky. And one CD actually includes the track listing of 'Album' - a yet unreleased album by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts!!

    I bought the Complete Spanish: Language Learning the easy way to enhance the Spanish I had learnt in a 10 week course I attended. I could not continue onto the next 10 week course but I also felt that I needed to listen to someone speaking Spanish on a regular basis, so as I drive 45 minutes to work and back home again I figured a CD was the way to go. I feel that I have progressed and feel more confident with my Spanish, but though I feel I am mastering the speaking of the language out loud in my car (what pedestrians must think as I drive past them I really don't know - the volume is turned right up and I am merrily talking away to myself!) I get embarrassed when my husband asks me to say something. I struggle to roll my rrrrrrrrr's for more than a millisecond and the linguistics certainly exercise my mouth and tongue. I am now on CD no 2 which I will listen to several times before moving onto the third CD, and then back to CD 1. I am really glad I bought them which come with a couple of booklets which have the transcripts of the CD content in them.

    I bought this for use in the car, so I rely heavily on the cd. I got through it pretty well, managing to repeat the disc a few times before moving on a section. So lots of repetition for me before moving on, but that's OK. About half way through though, I found that the time needed to say back wasn't enough, and the speakers were talking too fast for me to differentiate each word. However, that is based on me driving and listening, so if I was sat at home with the book in front of me and a pause button on hand, I'd be away. I take the books with me on holiday, and all in all, it hasn't made me fluent, but then I live in UK and don't talk Spanish every day, but it sure helps when I go to Spain.

    I have the Italian as well as the Spanish easy learning CDs. Great for learning a few basics for holidays. Unlike a lot of other home language learning tools, the units are structured in easy to learn bites, starting with basic greetings, how to ask for directions, ordering in a cafe or restaurant, etc. with short conversations demonstrating each lesson in context. The units build up in a well structured, progressive way that makes learning easy. The booklet with the units written out so that you can see the spelling is extremely helpful too. If you don't need to learn a language fluently but just enough to find your way around, this is a brilliant way of doing it in your own time and so much cheaper than paying for evening classes.

    This course seems much easier than other on line courses I have tried, I'm only on unit 7 and have a way to go but everything seems to sink in and stay there. Its taught in short lessons so you can do as much or as little as you want and so far its all useful stuff for travelling,food and drink, directions etc, look forward to the rest. It teaches classic pronounciation whereas some courses teach South American or both. Absolutely ideal for beginners.

    Excellent in many ways, this could have been better if they had taken more trouble to be consistent and balance the content of each section so they were all of equal difficulty. Some can be understood well and you feel you are making good progress, then you get to another and there is either far too much to learn, or they add in too much without support. For example, so many position words like "in front of, behind, opposite" etc (Stage 1 Unit 4) are very hard to keep in your head, and with Unit 11, they suddenly introduce leaving and arriving in a section meant to be about making appointments where the words are not in the accompanying booklet. If, like many people, you learn visually as well as aurally, this is disappointing.
    Perhaps a revised edition where learners are monitored to see how well they cope with each section would make this an even better pack.
